Fair enough,:good ive no sound so i just saw Bradley start celebrating. You guys say the judge for Witter was way off, cant comment until i watch it properly, though im sure you guys are right.
I'm sorry but the people on this forum need to be the ones judging the fights not those corrupt hacks. This is why boxing is where it is.
On a side note, that had to be one of the worst commentary jobs ITV have ever pulled off. Before the fight - "Bradley's not a big hitter." During the fight - "Both have knockout power!!" Start of the fight - "This won't be a chessmatch!" After round 3 - "This is developing into a chessmatch..." And then, after hyping him up before the fight, Rosenthal goes "He (Bradley) hasn't really fought anyone in the Top 50..." Do they all suffer from split-personalities or something?
Bradley, quite rightly, has pointed out Witter's repeated focus on Hatton was a part of the reason he lost. Now Bradley is keen to fight Hatton instead!
The right guy won tonight, definitely. But I think a focused Witter would clean Bradley out in a rematch. The young man is a little one-dimensional, but maybe he'll become a better fighter as he gets older and more experienced.
Bradley has time to improve. Witter isn't going to get any better, that was the best of Witter in the ring tonight. A rematch could be even worse for Junior.
Bradley deserved the nod. Witter? Just BLEW his mega match with Hatton. Overconfidence by Witter seemed a part of the problem. Determinaton from Bradley went a long way.
I hope we won't see a rematch. There's absolutely no need for one. It wasn't really exciting. The challenger was much better, outfought, outpunched, outsmarted the champ. It wasn't even close, everyone should score it again. The same as the Quintana-Williams fight: the rematch is absolutely unnecessary, Bradley's got better things to do. He should fight Kotelnik, he had an exciting fight vs. Rees.
Yup, overconfidence and the same thing that has led to a lot of fighters losing - thinking and talking all the time about a different opponent to the one you're actually in the ring with.
