I had Maidana by a point. I scored the card as the OP did except I had the sixth a drawn round and not one to Mayweather.

A draw would have been a fair result to my eyes.

114-114. I thought a draw was clear, but most people don't like doing that. It is what it is though.

A lot of swing rounds, so you can give a 115-113 to either fighter. But 116-112 is pushing it.

Rounds are scored 3 minutes at a time. It was a close fight, but still a comfortable win on the cards.

I question the scoring criteria of anyone who gave Maidana 5 rounds.

No way Maidana won any of the last 4 rounds. And to give Maidana any of rounds 2, 3, or 4 is borderline wild. They were made close rounds by rugged physicality. But blows landed? Ring generalship? Defense??? All Mayweather in those rounds. Same with 6 and 7. 9-12 were as clear for Floyd as the only few rounds Maidana landed enough punches to win in.

 

Round 3, 4, and 6. Mayweather wasn't active enough and I felt the "rugged physicality" won Maidana those rounds. Can't win a round on defense and moving backwards alone.

I agree that the last four rounds were definitely Mayweather's though.

 

I scored a LQ flash of the fight on a choppy, laggy internet feed and this was honestly what I saw.

Last 2 rounds could have gone either way in my opinion, they were messy.
Gave them to Maidana, because Floyd was not doing enough.

The last two rounds, Mayweather landed the only clean blows and they were flush punches during controlled brief moments of "teeing off."

He landed more CLEAN punches on Maidana's chin in those final two rounds than Maidana landed clean on Mayweathers' chin the whole fight.

Why are a lot of people getting 115-114, or 116-113?

That means you had an even round, which does not happen a lot. Even the announcers had weird scores.

 

It just means a drawn round. Judges don't do drawn rounds often but we can.

The sixth round was a nothing round to my eyes and I find it hard to give to either man.

 

I get your point. I scored them 'live', so I could be wrong. Maybe If I re-watch the fight, I'll give the rounds to Floyd.
It was a kind of 'feeling' thing I think, because Floyd was ahead on points and I thought Maidana deserved some more. :think
