Curiously Jeffries seems to have bet against himself in this fight. I guess his plan was that he would be taken care of either way.
These are not fight reports, they are the author's interpretation of them. I never heard of the author Christopher Shelton, and the web site is hardly a boxing web site. If you want a real fight report, this one will do. Its rather detailed. Fitz's rounds 1 and 6 Jeffries rounds 7 and 8 Even rounds where a film is needed 2,3,4, 5 Fitz was being worn out by round 6, and the tides turned in round 7 prior to the KO in 8. Fitz's footwork and defense here are much better than the first fight, which Jeffries won relatively easily. If you read the Brooklyn Union, they say Jeffries appeared to be in a daze leading up to this fight.
