Stovepipe i know from past discussions with you that you are a solid gambler, but this one is one for the ages well done :good
I need to take a more careful look at the fight. My tentative idea, right now is that Wlad at -260 "to win" is a stellar, heavy bet. I won't make this bet until I read the most intelligent well thought out Haye supporting opinions, as well as the most intelligent posts picking apart Wlad and basically everything else intelligent I can read on the fight. I stress intelligent because I don't want myself to be pulled off a bet by nonsense. So you can be assured I will be looking at the threads regarding that fight and whichever side comes up with the crueler photoshops and insults, well that is usually the side to bet against. That is my secret. :silly
Thanks. I am proof that you can do well without at this game by listening, reading and learning, without having experience in the game or having been a lifelong diehard fan, because I am neither. My advice to anyone is watch a lot of fights. Don't bet every fight just because you can. Don't bet medium or heavy unless you have a good feeling and it's ok to bet light and lose on long shots if you think their chance is a lot better than the odds. Not betting a couple grand on Baldomir vs Judah is what made me committed to betting. I had a great feeling Baldo would pull off that upset. Of course, I have had my share of embarassing losses too, that is for sure.
Good call! I put some money down on KO 1, 2 & 3 too. I thought an early KO was very possible based exactly on the same reasons you laid out, also given Hatton's recovery skills isn't great and Pac had a good history of KD fighters inside 3 rounds (JMM,MAB,Morales). Wasnt as confident as you though, last minute I only bet half of what I originally planned, only won half the cash at 45-1 odds! damm! lol.
