I always score rounds with one knockdown 10-8 and no knockdowns 10-9. Brewster-Liakovich is a good example. In one round Liakovich took a couple of punches and then took a knee while in another round Brewster took similar punches and stayed up. Some people suggested the round with the knockdown should only be 10-9 and the round Brewster took a beating should be 10-8. I reward fighters for staying on their feet. Otherwise boxers could just take a knee whenever they were hit with a shot they didn't like.
Well first you're saying that scoring rounds is so straightforward that all you have to do is look at who landed more punches . Then you are saying in that last post that its really complex and difficult (your magic wand comment)
