wow! 8 opponents x 12 = 96 rounds only 16 rounds that he tried to fight and 80 rounds he avoided exchanges and just pot shotted to win in 6 years.lol
Pacquiao - 3 rounds Maidana 2 - 4 rounds Maidana 1 - 5/6 rounds Canelo - 2 rounds Guerrero - 2 rounds Cotto - 4 rounds Ortiz - 1 round (out of 4) Mosley - 2 rounds Marquez - 0/1 rounds Hatton - 4 rounds De La Hoya - 4/5 rounds :nut Yes, I'll get punched in the face when my repeated goal is to outbox, win the points and get the money and avoid punishment. It's the other guy's job to make him fight and land on him... Maidana, Cotto and Oscar got him in the trenches, blame the opponents, Mayweather always says what his plan is.
so if he says he plans to run for 12 rounds then it is the responsibility of the other fighter to catch him.lol. that is not boxing at all. both players are responsible for making a good fight for entertainment and superiority in skill. no wonder boxing is going down hill and fans are getting lots of unfavorable fights.
It is NOT a boxer's responsibility to entertain the masses. It is their responsibility to try and win. If the masses are not entertained then they should not watch. :deal And this is coming from someone who does not like Floyd.
if the public is not paying then it is not their responsibility to entertain but they are being payed to entertain by showing their skill. floyd is the highest paid in the sport for this year. if it is just plain sport like the olympics then the judges are responsible in shaping the sport since they decide who wins and the player just do their best to conform to their requisites to win.
This argument holds no water. The public can choose whether to pay or not. It is simple supply and demand. Floyd is being paid to fight and his responsibility is to try and win. If he does not entertain you, do not pay to watch him. It does not get any more straightforward. Every consumer has this same option.
and they complain when it's hating when more and more fans don't like him? there is no boxing without the fans who support it. the customer is always right. boxing is a business. boxers fight to earn a living.
And Floyd is earning a very good living because more people are paying to buy his PPVs than anyone in the history of PPV boxing. When an NFL team is up 3 points with 30 seconds left and the other team has no timeouts do they throw a hail mary or kneel the ball? They kneel the f*cking ball because "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME".
