Floyd/Manny. You know this, too. I hate women's MMA, but that was a damn good fight. Floyd and Manny was an absolute farce!
You absolute spastic. Rousey-Holm was a 2 round comedy fight that gave a couple of laugh out loud moments. A nauseating ufc hype job pathetically exposed for the garbage that she is. Don't ever put it in the same sentence as Mayweather-Pacquiao.
I just don't like woman fighting. It's unseemly, you want to jump in and separate them before it gets serious.
I found it enjoyable for the fact Rousey is a disgracefully overhyped athlete/actor and as far as I am concerned had terrible stand up (I have boxed for years watched her training videos and she was ****) and it was being shared none stop on social media by lasses who know nothing about the fight game saying how great she is. I also found it annoying because she was doing all of these training moves on that skinny little guy who trains her and people were acting as though this means she can do it against any man. Mayweather and Pacquiao have dominated boxing for 20 years beating all time greats, she wasn't even around 5 years at a lighter weight beating other novices and people were making her out to be the best thing since sliced bread. Having said all of that Mayweather and Pacquiao both were past their primes, there was very little passion in that fight which is a black eye for boxing considering it was two of the greatest of the last 20 years. Holm vs Rousey was a fight levels and levels below Mayweather and Pacquiao which was a sparring session.
MMA is not a professional sport it's a joke, that thing belonged in a circus. And it proved my theory boxing is superior.
Can you imagine someone like Junior Dos Santos coming to boxing, train a couple of years and SCHOOLING Klitschko? Can anyone ever see that happening in this sport?
I'm on the fence with many of these comments. Yes, the quality of the combatants are for the most part lower than boxers, but at the end of the day, I watch boxing and MMA to be entertained. And I've certainly seen many MMA matches that are far more entertaining than the Floyd - Pac fight. In fact the two worst fights I've seen over the years are Floyd-Pac and Wlad-Povetkin. Having followed boxing for over 40 years, there was a time when I found most of the fights entertaining, but it's becoming less and less the case. As for boxing vs MMA, two different sports. Toney certainly didn't help boxings cause any, but Mercer did. In general I don't think anyone in MMA can simply get into boxing and excel, but on the other hand, I don't think any boxer can win a men's championship either.
deluded and butt-hurt about what you f**king spastic? You mmgay f*gs are just butt-hurt you got your star fighter sh*t pushed in by a featherfisted boxer lmao
If you don't like the sport, or can't say anything productive, why are you even on this fvcking thread? Go get a life.
Women are still proving themselves so generally come to fight. Men have started to make money so the bs has creeped in.
