    Im not sure if longevity is necesserily something that is desired by all boxer's, yes for legacy but it is their job afterall and the more money you can earn in the shortest space of time with all your faculties still in good working order the better.

    If Brook wants longevity fair enough but he better get a move on...cos part of that longevity will already be slated first 30, 3X number of fights were against! then he fought past prime blah blah blah...Still an IF.

    For me personally I'd rather know I was good enough sooner rather than later!

    To use your swimming theme.........its not good to go swimming with armbands on when your 27 whilst your mates are diving in the deep end.

    Lets face it Kell is a year older and we still don't know if he can mix it at the top level.

    As for Khan, I don't think it would have mattered if you rush him or move him on slowly, he will still have a bad chin, possibly have better ring IQ but only a little
