no dOUBT ABOUT IT ,,,Jus.tin could of done a lot better , he was unfortunate to be caught in the middle of the rift between Kosta and the biggest and best promoter at the time , Bill Mordey ..

Daniel well personally , i think he hit his straps and went has far has he was capable .

Johnny Lewis said Justoin Rowsell had the most potential of all the fighters he had. That's quite a statement

fenech fued with lovemore ended jus.tins career. jus.tin was set for a title shot. fenech had a falling out with ndou. fenech staged a fight between the two so he could get lovemore beaten. ...it didnt work out, and jus.tin lost the wt cred he had built.

there is no doubt jus,tin was caught betwen his loyalty for fenech, and his honour of not wanting to get involved. fenech is a pushy little **** and made jus.tin fight a fight he didnt need, and shouldnt have had. fench ruined justi.ns chance. period. it had nothing to do with kostya.

in fact, it was probably kostya that ruined fenech as a fighter. fenech was king of the dunghill at lewis gym. fenech was the world champ. kostya came along and used to beat jeff in every spar. he took jeff apart over the months.

couldnt happen to a bigger ****.

i knew jus.tin personally for some years. he and his brother daniel. they were good kids. flashy ams. but polite and respectful.

Cant agree with you there Sally,

Each time J Roswell has stepped up, all but one occasion he gets knocked out. His record is somewhat padded, he was fighting blokes that only made his record look good and was a product of team fenech to some degree. Most team fenech fighters if not all of them come up short on a world level because they all have padded records. Nader Hamdan is one example, Hussein brothers is another.

Now whilst you may tend to think because Johnny Lewis said this and that , he was right, i will say to you Johnny lewis was dead farkn WRONG and it wouldnt be the first time. J Roswells last fight was in 2001 and he was stopped in round 6 by Ricky Hatton. Hatton was chasing a showdown with KT and in an interview i had with JL i asked him about the potential of such matchup, he pretty much said that Ricky wasnt in the same league as KT and wasnt even on KTs radar, this was in december of 2004 then in 2005 they signed to fight Hatton and lost.

Its either in part one or two in this interview..

that dont matter, im right. look at JR's record. love was his 1st defeat. JR was set for a title shot. fenech wanted the fight to get ndou beaten cause he had a spat with him.

fenech ruined JR's chance of WT shot. i agree that JR's record was padded, but he was in position, no1 contender if i remember correctly.

had nothing to do with kostya. absolutely nothing.:deal

I did look at his record Sally, have a look at the diet he was on, the fight before lovemore he fought a guy with only 3 fights on his record, WTF :nut infact most of his career he fought guys who had come off a string of losses but to fight a bloke with only 3 fights under his belt prior to fighting lovemore honestly what do you expect the result to be? Fenech did this with all his fighters and its why they always came up short when put in with someone who can bang.

Rowsell was going to be exposed sooner or later, be it from lovemore or ricky hatton, he was a good boxer but nothing on a world stage as you can see by him being knocked out by world class fighers when he faced them, all you can blame fenech for is feeding him on a diet of bums.

im not saying jus.tin was going to be our greatest ever champ. he may well have been kod in his title shot. the point is; he had a chance, and jeff gambled that chance away with a selfish decision to fight lovemore.

just.in should have had the $$$ from a title shot. a shot he never got. but a shot that he was set for...THAT is the point.
