Tc I was only 10 myself I was taking the ****. Roswell best purse at the time of Lovemore was probally only about 5k so 30k would be nice.if you have a fighter who does not belong at world class but can get a crack a title/pay day you take it. 1percent of fighters earn 99 percent of the money. Most blokes. Toil away years for f--k all as manager it's your job to help them earn some cabbage all I am saying is his management stuffed up putting him in with Nodu. Hindsight is a beautiful thing though.

It was going to be against someone no one really knew about on a world level who held a WBO title, he wouldnt have been paid no where near as much as Shannon Taylor was when he fought Mosley and there is no way he could hold his own against fighters of this level, u cant blame fenech for Rowsells bad performance, next thing you will be blaming him for putting him against Hatton, or blaming JL for putting KT in with hatton, fact is these guys underestimated their opponents, feeding on a diet of bums will do that to both fighter and managment as we have seen many many times.

Sure fenech is a fckhead Sally but its a two way street. Not to mention you got ur facts all twisted up, the feud didnt start until AFTER that fight because lovemore was supposed to be another easy win. They bit off more than Rowsell could chew.

roswell hasnt made 135lb since 1996, then again in 1998 against Ndou and im owned? lol The guy was a light welter, willing to drop more weight and come in weight drained for fights, he never consistantly fought at 135lb, any way u look at it he was destine for fkcness not greatness, but u keep druming up about his payday cause im sure thats all that matters in boxing

In the end no one is to blame other than rowsell and your refrences confirm that Sally. He knew the risks going into the fight as mention above but thought Ndou was a walk in the park.

yep i was wrong and unaware he was getting a shot at Mosley, but sally was also technically wrong. If he couldnt get past Ndou what hopes did he have against Mosley? also the Mosley fight didnt set Shannon Taylor up, it would have been the same outcome as the Taylor v Mosley fight had Rowsell defeated Ndou. Any way u look at it Rowsell stuff it up himself by taking the fight when he knew the risks, he wouldnt have defeated Mosley but sure would have had a nice payday, again nothing that would have set him up for life or for greatness as Taylor is living proof of that. Rowsell is as much to blame as Fenech.

 

Taylor got very good money to fight I believe he got a house out of it. Any way pointless going on over this. It is what it is.

He made more than enough to set himself up but how he spent it was up to him hey. At least he had a good time!
