I saw DLH having an easy win against Genaro Hernandez, later,
I saw genaro Hernandez knocking down mayweather who felt flat
seated on the ring. For some strange reason, the referee did not
count this knock down and hernandez ended up quitting.

So you saw oscar beat hernadez at 135 and seen floyd give hernadez a beat down in his 18th fight, wow that proves how oscar was better than floyd at 130 like you claimed:yep

Disagree. Hopkins is the best we've seen. Hopkins fought everybody there was to challenge him. Jones and floyd were the best handpickers who dodged interesting threats like Michaelszewski, Collins, Benn, Nunn, Byrd Sanders at HWT, Casamayor, Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Tszyu, Freitas.

Hopkins left no questions, Jones and floyd as talented and great as they were left plenty.

    Jones faced hopkins

Jones faced the biggest challenge at supermiddle Toney...Benn lost to Malinga...so Jones blew away Malinga...

Jones beat Hill, Griffin and even Tarver . Collins lost to Reggie Johnson who Jones put a clinic against.

Do you really think Nunn would have lasted 6 rnds with Prime Jones?

Mayweather...faced the best at 130...Hernandez, Cahvez, Corrales, Manfredy...then went straight after

I agree Hopkins has been exceptional and deserves to be mentioned with these guys.

But during that period those 2 were at their peak....and at their peak...I dont think many fighters from any era would have beaten them.

~You have to commend B -Hop for his longevity and fighting at TOP level for so long.

I am not sure what weight these fights were but DLH was the king at 130
    and at 135 pounds.

King at 130, so his only 2 wins when he has actually at the weight v Jimmi Bredahl and giorgio campanella now are good enough to make you king:lol::lol:

Oscar won the WBO belt at super featherwhen the WBO meant even less than now) defended it once then moved up to lightweight, his two fights at the weight where his 12 and 13th in his career and yet somehow you reckon he was better than mayweather at 130. Your opinion is a joke

What Hopkins brings is consistency and longevity, but all his craftiness and smarts would not get him past someone with as much talent plus athletic ability as either of the two in their prime h2h. I agree, although Hopkins is great, he is not quiet at the level of a peak Jones or Mayweather.

I agree...Jones Mayweather are one offs...you get them in other sports

Federer Tennis, Jordan Basket Ball, Woods Golf, Valentino Rossi (Moto GP)

But Hopkins is the ultimate pro, he deserves to be up there because of his dedication, no crafty promoeter guiding him, he did it the hard way.

A real story. I hope a movie get made about B HOP...like the TYSON one

I am not disagreeing with no one on here about Floyd and Jones, even though I have my own opinions about them. But again where is Michael Moorer @ light-heavy? To me anyone that has won all his fights, like 25 @ a certain weight class with nothing less than some form of knock-out is head and shoulders better than Floyd and Roy. Besides a prime Moorer @ 175 will beat a prime Jones @ 168-175 anyday. But I will use the Roy @ 175. Moorer was an ultimate beast @ that weight and no one and I mean no one could not stop him. Floyd has handpicked his fights for the last 5 years and Roy handpicked a few fights but he has an excuse because of his really weak divisions he was in @ that time. That was not his fault, but he would not fight Dariusz Michalczewski to save his life. Floyd has not fought a WW since he been in that division, only blown-up WW(Hatton) and people past their primes(Gotti and Baldomir). I willl give him credit for Judah though. Roy is better than Floyd IMO. I have followed them both since their amateur years. But to say they are the best in this generation I can not agree. For starters try Moorer and Holyfield.

    It's all opinion, Not mine.
It's like saying Marylin Monroe was the greatest slice of A-- of all-time
maybe, but she never gave us a piece to prove it.
