The only time Jones had real trouble is when he got taken to the ropes.

This happened in the first Tarver fight as well as far back as the Hopkins fight. The rounds Jones lost to Hopkins are the ones he spent on the ropes.

PBF would not be able to back Jones into the ropes.

I see Roy Jones faking a right and causing Floyd to lean to his left to shoulder roll, then Rjj Launching one of his monstrous flying left hooks and decapitating Floyd.

91 wasn't roy jones prime i'd say 96-97. even if he had to drop weight would be a better fight.

Floyd is the best period right now.

 

RJJ of course, he is to big for floyd and neutralizes floyds strengths.

I don't think Floyd gets stopped by the green Jones, but he'd be very lucky to win more than a couple rounds.

Given that Jones is the much bigger man, the fact that he is faster than Floyd makes this a no contest. An old, inactive and far smaller (than Jones) fighter in De La Hoya was able to impose his size enough to win four rounds.

Mayweather would have virtually no offensive options in this contest. He'd simply decide whether to run to a decision loss or try to fight and get stopped.
