Roy Jones on FNF says he agrees completely with Hopkin's accessment of Kessler.
They both agree that Kessler's a straight up euro fighter that has nothing special and B level at best.

You know who else said that Kessler was a staight up and down European fighter? That's right, Joe Calzaghe. He said so before their fight. However, I don't remember any of them saying he was B level at best. He's not elite, but I think he's better than B level

Roy Jones is correct, and he would know.

Both Jones and Hopkins are way past it though, theyre not quite A-level anymore themselves, to put it mildly.

he also called bhop a phoney on wednesday,do you think he meant that?

the kessler question is such a difficult one and im sure kessler wouldnt be a difficult fight with people with such unorthdox skills like rjj or joe c,however i dont see many boxers out there between 160-175 who could beat him.he's fast,he's powerful and throw one hell of a straight right and upper.we really need to see him in the ring with some more A-class competition to make any real judgements about him.

Roy said IF calzaghe keeps a level head and doesn't get drawn into bernard's dirty tactics, it will be an easy night for him. He didn't say that would be the outcome.

Kessler has the skillset to go beyond B level, even if his resume does not yet prove it. What it does show is that he can completely dominate B- type competition, barely dropping a round in the process. That is the hallmark of a fighter that is better than B, or certanly has the ability to be

Many A fighters don't put the domination that Kessler did against solid opposition of various styles, I don't see how people don't see this, blindness.

The guy only lost like 5 rounds in 39 fights before Calzaghe, who the hell does that even among elite fighters?

And people think his opposition was crap? Hell no, it wasn't top, but it was the type where even top level fighters show vulnerabilities that Kessler never did too. Solid opposition, completely outclassed like an elite would.
