no no no,just because the judges said he lost, doesnt actually mean he lost ... he still beat wright didn't he?how many people have ever done it comfortably,he is a stylistic nightmare for anyone and he overcame it superbly, and what about beating tarver,no sorry not beating tarver making tarver look like a hype job.

come on mate don't be unreasonable,he is still a top class fighter regardless of age.

He said it when he said Calzaghe built his record fighting only B level fighters except the A level fighters from America who fought overseas when they were used up in the states.

After watching the Kessler - Calzaghe fight I would agree, and this is why Calzaghe beat him. Calzaghe doesn't fight like a european fighter. He uses angles and good foot movement. This explains why Joe has been so successful and undefeated fighting these kind of fighters.
Unfortuanely, Hopkins has the skills to solve Calzaghe's style.
    the count down begins.

Pure haterism, just trying to discredit Calzaghe's win. Kessler is A-level, B-level fighters don't unify WBC and WBA titles.

He had his chance against Miranda...who is the same level as he is...he avoided him for no apparent reason (Im sure some here will come up with BS excuse). Was he afraid? This would have been a test of whose the best B Level at SMW...

Look they're both stiffs, one can puch really hard, one punches straighter...neither are what you would call nimble

Remember Pavlik already dismantled edison..I just brought that up coz it galls me that some insinuates that Kessler is somewhat better than Pavlik

I'd agree. They ARE both on the same level. Though good fighters, neither would consistently win against the A level.

He's already beaten better fighters than Miranda :patsch

How the hell can he be a stiff when he unified 2 of the major titles and lost a competetive bout to an elite? You must have an obscure defintion of that word...

I noticed Jones avoided mentioning Hopkins name for a future opponent. Guess that fight is never going to happen

What ELITE did he lose to?
Surely you aren't placing Kessler in the A level and Calzaghe in the ELITE level too.
That would make fighters like Letterlough A level also.

It's clear Jones don't like Hopkins and don't want to give him the satisfaction of avenging his lose.

Yes, Calzaghe is an elite. Top 3 p4p in any reasonable persons book, which sure as hell makes him an elite

Kessler lost a competetive bout to an elite, what was so difficult for you? Do you always have problems with reading comprehension?

No he would not, even Taylor almost ended Pavlik, he's defensively week, Kessler would hand him his ass.

    How am I beaing unreasonable?

Hopkins is 43 years old. Fact.

For a boxer, that is ancient. Fact.

Hopkins lost twice to Taylor. Fact.

I also had him 0-1-1 against Taylor, scoring the fights myself. There were numerous polls on here and the decisions were hardly a robbery.

    Taylor was nothing special. Fact.

Winky has never and will never prove anything at 175. Another fact.

He is way too small, yet made Hopkins look bad in there. Hopkins should have dominated Winky, but he didn't.

    And Suckalips? Please. :rofl
