    Jones jnr's was 100% more blatant, he meant to hit him while he was down, the camera don't lie. GGG was in motion to throw it before the knee touched.

    There are replays of this from multiple angles, best one I’ve seen was from someone’s phone, Golovkin throws when Vanes is going down and lands just before knee touches canvas... Nice try Roy.

    I seem to recall that Golovkin did indeed land a punch on Lemieux when he was on his knee tho, that could’ve been a stronger case for DQ, this is just rubbish.

    Er. no you would've been brutally KO'd from one of the straight rights or left hooks GGG cracked Vanes on the whiskers with during the sequence before the final shot even landed, you savage puncher avoiding, glass-jawed juicer fraud. The right uppercut earlier on in the round or the huge left hook GGG separated Vanes from his senses with shortly before he hit the canvas would've sparked out Roy for an aeon.

    GGG didn't break Hopkins' record................. Hopkins has 20 defenses, while Gennady has 19th as the WBA wasn't on the line against Brook. :chuck:

    Frustration? Roy had the fight under control at that point, and lets not act like Griffin wasn't hitting Roy with his shoulder and then punching him on the inside, real dirty stuff. If anything it was retaliation, and I'm not saying Hazzard was incorrect for DQing him. It was a good call for a commissioner. Most commissioners don't have those type of balls.

    The funny thing is not only do I not hate Roy, I don't even dislike him. I never have I just find it very amusing to mock his disgustingly fragile old lady glass-jaw and wind up his doe-eyed groupies who literally think he can walk on water and is actually Superman.

    That's a different discussion, I'm talking about what would happen if GGG detonated those bombs he cracked Vanes with on that disgustingly fragile old lady glass mandible of his and everyone knows if he did they would put Roy's lights out for a good 2 or 3 hours.
