It's another discussion, but Haye is several levels above Ruiz in terms of talent.

Jones moving up in weight always seemed like a bit of a PR-thing from a smart businessman. He avoided the best champs. Not that I expected him to take on that monster Lennox Lewis, what I am saying is that the victory over Ruiz was good but not great.

He took a prolonged beating from Mayweather, which imo is much worse then a quick ko.

I think age might have something to do with it.

khan's chin has improved since Prescott flattened him

The problem is that Tarver has not really koed anyone worth mentioning. What was a over the hill Griffin still doing there after he took a one sided beatdown from Tarver?

When did he get rabbit punched during the G.Johnson fight?

The only thing Haye has over Ruiz is his cruiserweight reign but their Heavy Wight resumes aren't that far apart ..Jones didn't avoid anything ,The man would have been killed had he faced LL ..And to be fair a viable offer waas made to Holyfield who did turn down Jones ...

The victory over Jones should not be underratted due to Jones size ..I mean iManny beats Clotty and people around here make that hall of fame worthy ..So I'm not to going to dismiss that accomplishment because peopl'e opinion of Ruiz .If it were so easy to so than Roy wouldn't be the 2nd man in history to accomplish that task thats all ..

More to the side of the head look at the KO @ 2:34 Close to the ear ..That wasn't to the chin

What you say about Jones is fair enough.

But claimning that Ruiz and Haye are close as HW's really, really seems like a stretch. They fought. Haye trashed Ruiz badly.

Yeah Haybe beat a very old John Ruiz .. I mean Ruiz wasn't the fighter he was that gave Holyfield all those problems against Haye ..And really what does Haye have over John in terms of heavy weight resume ? A win over Valuev who Ruiz was robbed against ?? If anyone was a joke to the title it was Valuev not Ruiz ..
