There is no way fathomable that anybody can say Roy is ducking Hopkins anymore. Hopkins said Roy is a shell of his former self but then refuses to agree to 60 to the winner. I love Hopkins but damn he is a hypocrite sometimes.

If they even agree on the split, who's going to come up with the money for them to split?

I doubt HBO go for it. No HBO, no fight. What's in it for them? Both men on the way out, no gain, not even an exciting fight.

But Jones would have the valid excuse that he was way past his prime

The Lacy win seems to have gone to his head!

Still, people would buy that one. Roy still has a huge name, while Bernard has a name too and still is an elite fighter. Plus the history and intrigue between these two - trust me, HBO would be in on that one.
