What's the problem with 60% for the winner and 40% for the loser ? If Bernard is that confident of beating a faded Roy Jones, then he'd be a total fool to avoid such an offer, that fight would generate much more money and interest than any other possible fights for him at this point anyways !

**** it, lets get this fight on. Hopkins is shifting every month on "possible opponents", Roy is one of the few guys who I think gets to him. B-Hop knows he can take RJJ now and RJJ is obviously full of beans about his supposed new found lease of boxing life.

Get the fight made and do it somewhere obscure - make it a real event. Let B-Hop and RJJ go at it on the media tour and have it in North Korea or something. YEAH!

I'm going for a lie down now.

I agree that gives Jones more incentive ..Why would Hopkins not agree considering how shot Jones is ? This is an easy pay for him no ??

This is a fight that needs to be made ..Even though Jones is past his best the public curiosity would be huge ..Make it ..The ball is in Hopkins court ..The Ademek is cool but more people want this fight ..

Also why does he hate McNabb so much ??

this was a great find, B-Hop is one of the best interviews in boxing. If this fight did get made than they should do a 24/7 show, it would be great, because I think B-Hop would be even more entertaining on 24/7 than the Mayweathers.

it's a good thing B-Hop isn't a football analyst because he does not know what the hell he's talking about. If the Eagles didn't have McNabb than they wouldn't have had half as many wins as they have in the past decade. He lead them to 4 consecutive NFC championships and then a super bowl for christ sake, not to mention bringing them back to the NFC championship last year.

Hopkins is my guy, but I'm tired of him shitting on McNabb. He pulls this **** every chance he gets. He needs to stick to boxing because he knows **** about football. Michael Vick will not lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl. The last time I checked Michael Vick got his ass torn up twice in the playoffs against the Eagles while McNabb sliced and diced Atlanta's defense. Hopkins has a personal vendetta against McNabb and it's gotten out of hand. He clowns McNabb for not winning a Super Bowl but then tries to big up Vick and Garcia. What the **** have either of these two ever won? Not a damn thing.

Then he has the nerve to question McNabb's blackness. That's the most ignorant **** I've ever heard. McNabb is much better representative for the black community that Hopkins could ever dream of being. Hopkins is a common thug who has some money now because he decided to sell out and bend over for Oscar. Hopkins is still my guy, but it's the truth. He's an ass kissin, Uncle Tom, GBP sellout.

I hope to god this doesn't happen.

Roy needs to go and go now. I find it hugely disappointing that one of the greatest boxing legacies of all time (certainly much greater than any that Hopkins will leave behind) is being tainted with time.

He has absolutely nothing to prove to anyone.

I sincerely hope he places a call to his mate Joe Calzaghe and asks him what he thinks about it - because the answer will almost certainly be "don't give him the pleasure of it, you don't need to".

Just let him whinge, whine and moan about it Roy. Let him get on with it and leave him well alone. He's not a patch on Jones and frankly if Roy gets in the ring with him I shall not be watching the fight - I don't want to see what will happen now, because it would be a very different outcome from years ago.

I'm listening to the podcasts now. Hopkins is back to talking about boxing and he's aboslutely clowning Roy Jones Jr. Roy is getting embarrased.

I thought Hopkins wanted a cut to go towards Golden Boy but Jones said **** that but then came to the arrangement of doing a 50/40 split with 10% going to Golden.

    Thanks for posting.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl *****n hilarious.

Calvin Murphy: "Bernard, does that sound like Roy Jones to you?"

    Hopkins: "Yeah, that's him"

    Murphy: "How do you know?"

    Hopkins: "Trust me, it's him"

This is another classic moment in boxing.

Based on this long interview, this fight isn't happening. They are both stubborn in their ways and i don't see either budging. Too bad.

"I know it's Roy, I know Roy and Roy knows me. How he said "What up B Hop" I know it's him!"

    Ok, whatever guy :rofl:rofl

It's funny how the roles have been reversed with these two intellectuals
