    Who cares

They actually fought when both they were near the best pound for pound in the world - and Jones won, easily.

It's like saying, "Thomas Hearns would beat Sugar Ray Leonard at 175 lbs."

    So what.

Anyway, Jones did win a HW title over Ruiz, more easily than Toney beat Ruiz (which didn't even count because Toney was busted for 'roids.)

So, your argument that Toney would beat Jones at CW and HW isn't even bulletproof.

Jesus what an idiot.. What i am saying is that the cruiser and hw version of toney beats any version of jones included his super 168 version... So who cares if jones wins at 160? The fact is that toney had a big version of himself that could kick the ass of any version of jones..period.
Jones had a fragile small frame and he could not take the shots from big guys even his speed was crappy at hw and he could not.do the same that he did at lower weights . toney had more robust frame and was better at higher weights he had more power and took x25 a better shot

    Nice logic.

So if Toney comes in at 195 he can beat Jones who comes in at 168. I would hope so.

But, since that cannot be sanctioned and cannot happen in reality, it is worth the same as a grain of salt.

And if you somehow mean "pound for pound" CW or HW James Toney was better than any version of Roy Jones - because your wording is horrific- I would say NO. Pound for pound Roy Jones is greater than James Toney.

    BTW: Thanks for the insult.

Toney was severely weight drained against Roy Jones. Jones did beat Toney in his prime but Toney was not in shape.
