I was just thinking. I really dont like roy jones as a commentator. I think he gives good insight because he can apply firsthand experience. But other than that I see no charm in his voice. I think he is only there to add "color" to the table. in my opinoin max kellerman is the better commentator. What do you think?
I strongly disagree. I think hes levels and levels above the cringeworthy max. And one of the best in the sport at calling a fight. I don't think he can 'carry' a fight but I think he adds valuable angles and I think hes almost always the best announcer at the booth. Malignaggi, Ward, Tarver, and Al.B are the other top announcers, imo. That being said, commentary in general annoys the **** out of me. Wish they provided options to go without it.
