[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KykiPp3ik20[/ame] never thought id see roy so out of shape age is really kicking in. most gifted boxer ever imo still tho
he was 39 when calzaghe beat him and was shot to **** and still put cal on his ass. joe cal great boxer roy was god gifted wins on points comfortably if they met in there peaks but cal was to busy getting it tight with robin reid and the likes.
lol 39 is like 80 in boxing years when it comes to someone who uses his physical gifts more than anyone else in the sport. Lots of hyperbole but you get what i mean.
If he was really the most gifted boxer ever, then he wouldn't have a glass jaw now would he? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1Ay6UhettU"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1Ay6UhettU[/ame]
i agree with you there roy relied on them athletic gifts that in his prime made him stand out from the rest. im a massive fan tho do wonder had he damaged his legacy by continuing boxing. but maybe they said that of ali as he carried on to long?? im not sure as im to young to know of the end of alis career
john ruiz hit him a hell of a lot harder than this and he didnt go down, roy ruined his body ny the weight loss. its that simple 25 pound of muscle would destroy most never mind a mind a man at 35
I still think Roy would make a good coach, he has a great knowledge of the game Above all I'd rather he retired, he's finished as a fighter
Says guy with Wlad in his avataratsch Dont get me wrong Wlad doesnt have the worst chin but its far from good.
half the guys in their 20's and early 30s are fat asses in the heavyweight division...look at arreola and solis
