AT 166 !!!!!!:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl Dead ****ing serious:deal Can't tell you where, but if all your talk is about boxing, you can figure it out.
So Roy Jones, a former heavyweight champion, is calling out Oscar De La Hoya, a former super featherweight champion. Come on...I know lots of bigger guys call out De La Hoya, but Roy? That would be a pointless fight. De La Hoya would never do it.
It would be a mega event, and the hype would be insane, but I agree it is pointless and Oscar is too smart to do that.
LOL....I thought DLH was crazy for thinking about Pacquiao, and I think the same here. Problem is, it would be a HUGE fight.
I'm sure Roy's one flurry a round combined with De La Hoya's one wild flurry to the body a round will make for a great fight.... ....urgh.
Is Roy going to make a career of going after Nard's leftovers now? He first tried it with Glen Johnson. Unfortunately, it backfired and he was put to sleep. He continued it with Tito(too bad he couldn't close the deal like Nard did). Now he wants DLH. He'll probably go after Calzaghe if Nard beats him. Meanwhile, Nard went up two divisions to show Roy the proper way to handle Tarver.
Yes, he has made a career out of it. Should I now point out that Hopkins made a career out of fighting smaller fighters while Jones made a career out of fighting bigger ones? Come on.....keep it simple and don't make it about a fighter not even involved.
You could, but that would be a dumb argument. Hopkins fought most of his career at MW against other MW's. The only guy he fought that didn't belong at MW was DLH. Trinidad had fought for a few years at 154 and knocked out MW title holder Joppy before fighting Hopkins. So he belonged at MW.
Everybody wants to get paid. hell! I will fight him for the payday. I will get KTFO, but I will try... hehe everybody no matter how ludicris, even Hattons stubby little ass included wants to ride the Golden boy gravy train. Winning doesnt matter anymore, its al about lets getting paid. I understand it but something about it is just so wrong.
