    Roy Jones fought

former champions far past their prime weight & age :
Vinny Pazienza , a former lightweight , 7 years older than Jones at supermiddleweight .
Mike McCallum , a former lightmiddleweight , 13 years older than Jones at lightheavyweight .
Reggie Johnson , a former middleweight , 3 years older than Jones at lightheavyweight .
James Toney , while Toney couldn't make 168 anymore without making him weak & slow at 168 .
Bernard Hopkins , that was not a beating .
Antonio Tarver , that was not a beating , but d rematch was :yep .
Clinton Woods , I think Jones can get his credit on this 1 .
John Ruiz , a paper Don King titlist , not a beating , but Jones picked another belt "and made history" .
Montell Griffin , was rushed in2 d ring without being given d time 2 get himself warmed prior 2d fight , this time , Jones' team made sure Griffin will b caught cold (literally) and no more shame like Griffin gave him in their 1st time .
Jorge Vaca , signed on a contract 2 fight Vaca at 154 , Jones "much surprisingly" didn't make d weight , and Vaca had 2 fight a much bigger and 10 years younger man or no money . What a shocking surprise it was .
