They never tested the B Sample. Boxing needed Jones. So a " Deal " was made.

Jones admitted using steroids, though his attorney, and the A sample tested out 5 times over the normal limit.

It has to do with $$$$. When Fernando Vargus flunked his drug test, he was out of boxing for a while. Jones was too much of a draw.

Whatever anyone else did is irrelevant, all cheats should be punished. But Roy Jones is touted as all sorts of kinds of legend, to superman, middleweight to heavyweight champ, an all time great, but its tarnished in everyones eyes apart from the Americans , who barely even knew it had happened.

On a planet where boxers actually need to make weight (since muscle weighs a lot, it doesn't benefit most fighters to try to pack on muscle), and on a planet where the method of training to get rid of fat improves the fighter's stamina.

As for Andro, it wasn't illegal at the time Jones took it, nor was in banned by the boxing at the time you're saying he used it. Personally, I think diuretics are much worse in the context of boxing anyway.

It was banned in boxing when he took it and reducing body fat helps. As does packing on muscle if you were say wanting to go from 160 all the way to heavyweight to become a legend ?

And its not me saying he took it, its RJJ saying he took steroids. Oh and the drug commision

maybe because andro was a over the counter testosterone booster that was worthless, and was put into most over counter supplement and powder to help sell them.

Ask any body builder or anyone that knows anything about steroid and they will tell you that it is worthless steroid alternative , the only you will get from andro is a case of the ***** tits.

Jones knew he needed roids to beat Hall. Look how competitive that fight was. People around the Conseco Fieldhouse still talk about that classic, I tell you what.

Your an idiot andro is worthless , the only reason andro got any news clipping is because of McGuire said thats what he was taking for added strength .

if you believe that andro was the only thing McGuire was taking to gain size and improve his swing , then your an even bigger idiot.

Andro was a fake over price supplement that only lighten fool of there money.

RJJ didn't jump all the way from 160 to HW in one go you ****wit. He went from 175 to 193 in 2003 after fighting at LH since 1996. Are you suggesting that Jones, despite rigorous testing post Hall in 2000, was taking steroids to make what in effect was cruiserweight to take on Ruiz at heavy in 2003? The tests suggest otherwise.

Did i say he did jump all the way in one go ? Insulting someone on line i find that really intimidating. Now jog on

He did not need the roids to beat Hall, which indicates he was probably a regular user ? No
