Dunno about being the best ever but he is certainly the best p4p fighter of the 90s and that automatically puts him in 20-25 for me...

Between 160 and 168 i wouldn't pick any fighter in history to beat a prime Roy. Yes that includes hagler and robinson and monzon and anyone else you are thinking. His speed, power, defense, stamina were amazing

If Roy Jones really took Ripped Fuel, WHO GIVES A ****. IT'S A ****EN SUPPLEMENT AT GNC AND NUTRITION STORES!

DO NONE OF YOU ON THIS FORUM WORKOUT? OR ALL YOU SKINNY ****S? I GO TO THE NUTRITION STORE ONCE A MONTH AND BUY MY SUPPLEMENTS I HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY CONTAIN STEROIDS OR NOT, HOPEFULLY THEY DON'T BUT WHO THE **** KNOWS?

BACK IN 2001 OR 2000 SUPPLEMENTS WERE NO WHERE AS BIG AS THEY ARE TODAY AND WERE ON A LOWER RADAR.

Hall tested positive for steroids as well. In fact Hall tested positive first and then they tested Jones and found he was positive as well. Finally the fight took place in a state which said steroid use was legal, so they couldn't rule the fight a no contest. It was a calculated decision. Jones knew his opponent would be on steroids so he took steroids. The fight was completely fair because both fighters were on it.

An over the counter suppliment is far from a true steroid anyway ..Since then he never tested positive for anything else ..Either way like you said they were both caught ..

Nothing against Roy, but as talented as he was, his resume does not support that claim in the slightest, had he fought Benn, Eubank, Collins, Liles, Nunn, Dariusz, or a combination of those, then you might be able to put a case together, although that might still be a stretch, now whether its Jones fault or not as to why these fights did or did not happen, fact remains, they did not happen, just the fact that they did not happen will hurt Jones's resume imo, regardless whether the blame can/should be attributed to him or not.

You do know that Steve Collins lost his shot to fight Jones when he lost to Reggie Johnson right ? Who Jones then beat soundly !

Nunn you can't be serious ..The man that lost to Toney who Jones also soundly beat ?And the same Toney who Benn and Eubank both ducked ??

Please take a closer look at all the scenerios surrounding the so called ducks . Jones can't be blamed for other fighters blown oppurtrunities ..

And the DM thing has been beat to death I beleive with that fight both parties were to blame as both either wanted the fight in their back yards or over priced themselves .

I know, but that was a close fight, albeit i thought Reggie won, was a war infact, however the Johnson that fought Roy was past his best then imo.

Its about styles dude, Toney is a completely different prospect to Jones in terms of styles.

I dont want to get into all that, all i will say is, IMO those fights have hurt Roy in terms of legacy because they did not happen, not that im saying it was all his fault, but its like Wlad, he will never get his props because he does not have the opposition, however that is not his fault, but it is what is.

toney could of come to the uk at any time to fight benn and eubank...or do you think that everyone has to go to your backyard every time?

benn went to the states to fight de witt and barkly...it was now your turn to come to the uk...just like mcclellan did.
