Extorting HBO? Always demanding the lions share? He was the consensus P4P King, and was voted the fighter of the 90's.
Seriously, aren't you bored of typing the same old nonsense over and over? I've shown you proof of who he tried to fight, and you just embarrass yourself with your replies. Prove to us all now how Roy avoided everyone. The only so called evidence that you have, is that the fights never got made. You're such a fool. He did nothing for ten years? atsch
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Why don't you go and reread the article Einstein? His next two fights after Woods (who was a mandatory) was against Ruiz and Tarver. You've also been shown articles on negotiations regarding Hopkins and Dariusz.
Doesn't matter how good he was because there's not a man born from his mother who can beat Tyson Fury.
Another article where the writer was justifiably frustrated with Roy's opposition. It was perfectly understandable that people quite rightly wanted Roy to fight bigger fights. But you have to take into consideration the following factors after reading it: 1. In the 12 months leading up to the Woods fight, HBO had failed to land Roy the Dariusz M fight. 2. Between Feb-July of 2002, Roy and HBO had tried to make the Bernard Hopkins rematch. Hopkins was offered $6m, and he turned it down and ended up fighting Hakkar the following year. 3. Woods was a mandatory defence. What was Roy supposed to do instead, if he couldn't get bigger fights at the time? 4. Roy signed to fight Ruiz a few months after the Woods fight, and then fought him the following March, in what was a BIG fight. 5. Roy then fought Tarver in November of that year, which was also a BIG fight. Anybody can post articles that were written in frustration from a certain point in time. But you have to objectively consider all of the circumstances involved, and then look at what Roy went on to do afterwards. Now I'm going to assume that the writer of the article was happy with the Ruiz and Tarver fights that followed.
Was jones born from his mother? Yes? Fury beats him then. He's also very old now. Fury beats him easy.
