Prime Toney is better than ANY version of Floyd. FACT.

 

I think RJJ probably would beat Mayweather in his prime years. His offense and athleticism was just soooooo good back then.

I'm a big fan of Toney but I don't agree that he and Mayweather fight the same way.....but maybe Roy didn't have much time to expand or explain what he meant. Toney and Mayweather do have ALOT of similarities though.

As for Roy beating Pacquiao I would have said the pre Tarver version of Roy overwhelms Pacquiao with ease, but the fact that Roy is questioning it makes me think twice.....as for the version of Roy that fought Tarver......well I think that would be quite brutal for him lol!

 

Roy deals with Floyd easy. Pac might actually beat RJJ and I'd rank Pac slightly above Roy but it's close to 50/50.

This reveals why Rjj ducked guys like Benn and McClennan, and why Mayweather keeps ducking Pac and any notable punchers with speed.

Mayweather and Rjj relied a lot on speed, Mayweather nearly got found out by Judah till Judah was choked illegally by team Mayweather ( no dq?!?!) and Rjj was exposed by Calzaghe when he was matched with someone faster. So we can see why Mayweather would avoid a power house speedster like Pac would would hit him all day long at angles Mayweather didn't know existed.:deal
