Toney got dropped but got up instantly. He wasn't knocked out cold like Jones was against Lebedev.

Are you actually trying to say that Jones isn't glass jawed?

Are you a moron? It is a well known fact that a knockout and a concussion are two different things. I.e. you can be knocked out without suffering a concussion and you can get a concussion without being knocked out.

Are you actually trying to say that Jones isn't glass jawed?

What is iron chinned Toney doing getting dropped and almost finished by a guy who isn't known as a big puncher? Somehow though glass jawed RJJ managed to remain vertical the entire fight against the very same guy. LOL, you are a funny dude. Toney had a better chin than RJJ, sure, I can agree to that, but to say RJJ had a glass jaw looking at his entire career objectively, isn't accurate....

Looking at his career as a collective whole, no. He got dropped once in his prime, just like Ray Leonard. Ray got KTFO by Norris and Camacho, when he was old and washed up. Would you say Ray had a glass jaw? Roy got KTFO when he was past his prime. I can name several other high profile fighters who didn't start getting KO'd until they were on the back ends of their careers, like Leonard. IDK, maybe RJJ didn't sign an autograph for you or something. You seem butt hurt that there is an opposing opinion to yours. It's not that serious partner...

I guess everyone's definition of a glass jaw is different. If someone were to say later in his career RJJ had a glass jaw, I'd agree with that. Again, looking at his whole body of work, I don't think that's accurate.

Floyd athletically outstrips a prime toney by farrrrrr

Toney was very skilled but didn't have any of the athletic advantages Floyd did

    Floyd Moseley's RJJ :hey

Jones suffered a concussion in the Jones -Tarver 2...it is well documented.

Plus he came back only 4 months after to fight Johnson and he was not symptoms free.

You can see at the beginning of the fight that he had no legs, no stamina, no energy nothing and his balance was poor.

All boxer in the world would have been knock out by this perfect shot on the kisser by Tarver.

After that Jones made a lot a mistakes, he had to wait at least 9 months before to come back.

A neurologist yesterday in Montreal said Sidney Crosby is 5 to 10 tmes more fragile now after suffering at least 2 concussion on the ice. Crosby will be back Thursday and anyone with a brain will be anxious for fim.

In boxing, a lot of people doest not care about concussion. Some trainers, promotors send the fighters on the ring again shortly after a brutal knock out

Some people on here are are ******ed! When did Roy Jones duck a Toney rematch? When? and why would he have? After their fight in 94, Toney said he was coming back but at 175. He congratulated Roy and he never said anything about a rematch. He never mentioned anything about a rematch for the rest of his career. The biggest mouth in Boxing never mentioned it once! Not even when Roy went upto light heavy, and then heavy in 2003. Where do people get this stuff from? Toney didn't want one. If he had, everyone would have been aware.

James Toney is on record saying that Roy beat him fair and square and was the better fighter that night. (See Roy Jones : Beyond the Glory)

I would of liked Jones to take that fight at Cruiserweight though, just before or maybe just after the Ruiz fight.

Style wise he does match up very well with Mayweather P4P simply because Floyd is more patient, but doesn't posses the extreme physical gifts of RJJ.
