Jones had a literally a handful of fights at Super Middleweight where he fought ONE good opponent. That is not enough of a sample size for some of you to be saying "unbeatable at 168" or "unreal power at 168" he wasn't there long enough and didn't even fight the best guys there like he failed to do in every other Division he fought in.

You are an absolute idiot and any point you ever try to make is moot because of the Fact that you are an unabashed fanboy of another Glass Jawed Fraud who refused to fight the big fights. It is little wonder that you would also suck off Glass Jaw Roy.

Secondly, I am a huge fan of Money May. He is a real fighter who takes real challenges and has an Iron Chin. None of what I do is trolling and neither do I need "alts" to post my opinion. I am here to talk Boxing and I will call it as I see it. You, on the other hand, are a moronic nuthugger who loves to e-stalk me and constantly whine about what I have to say. You have an ignore option, idiot, use it if I am so offensive to you.

I have been saying this during this entire discussion and it goes right over these idiots' heads. It is like trying to teach rocket science to a mongoloid, that is how delusional Glass Jaw Roy's fanboys are. What is your take on a LaMotta/Jones fight, Rico?

This thread is another prime example of Roy Jones' nuthuggers believing that he is unbeatable based on him beating cap drivers and sewer workers, while roiding up and avoiding the best..
Pathetic.. Roy Jones is the most overrated glass jawed fraud of all time..

    Hi mate,

He baits me, and I embarrass him with logic and facts. It's all good.

Any logical person that knows about boxing, has to think that he's trolling, because nobody could be that stupid could they? Ha!

    I don't know?

Is Metal an attention seeking troll?

    Or is he a ******?

    Lets start a debate! Ha!

    Regards, Loudon.

Roy Jones was a tremendous physical talent, but I just don't think he fought enough of the best opposition in his prime to be considered a serious candidate for "greatest of all time" kind of talk.

Personally I'd take a guy who lost a few like Azumah Nelson over Jones any day. There was no question that Nelson took on everyone, or wanted to at least. I think Jones was content riding the HBO money train fighting cab drivers and dentists. Good for him $$$ wise, just not great for his legacy.

The odd thing of course is that now 10 years past his prime he travels all over the world to get knocked out. I never would have guessed that happening.

That's what happens when you never make big fights, therefore never get huge paydays, and then blow what money you have made on a shitty rap label. Jones has no money. None.

LaMotta would show Glass Jaw Roy ZERO respect and walk right through him rough him up on the inside get him to the ropes and blast the body, arms, head, etc. That is unless Roy brings Jay Nady to referee and protect him :patsch

Listen, these teenagers on here don't know the History of the sport. They ignore as you already pointed out LaMotta went toe to toe with SRR 7 times maybe/probably the greatest ever took everything SRR threw at him and smiled and laughed and said throw some more. Beat him staright up in his Prime once arguably the only person to do it. Jake LaMotta could fight.

What these fanboys fail to acknowledge when they trot over to BoxRec and look at LaMotta's record is in his era the referee wasn't waving fights off at the first sight of a bloody nose like they do today. As long as you could beat a 10 count no matter how hurt you were you were allowed to continue. There were no referee stoppages against the ropes while throwing McFlurries like there are today. You basically had to kill your opponent to score a legit KO back then. That is why LaMotta had a lower KO rate and it is deceiving. I have NO DOUBT that an Iron Chinned Warrior like Jake LaMotta would eat every punch Roy threw at him and would have fired back and eventually would have Shattered that discraceful Glass Jaw to smithereens.

Also, remember LaMotta starved himself to make 160 and also had same day weigh ins also. It is why I shake my head at these 18 year olds that come on here and try and tell you and I that Roy Jones a guy that NEVER had a tough fight in his life in his Prime and who had an awful Glass Jaw was unbeatable at 168. There is ZERO evidence of this. None. Jones simply would crumble against LaMotta and a host of others. The guy has no Chin and no Plan B in a fight. It is laughable to say after the line of guys Jones fought that he was 'unbeatable'.

What a Dominant and Fact-filled post. Excellent analysis and one with which I wholeheartedly concur.:good

I do not think that any of these children have ever watched LaMotta fight. He is the EPITOME of an Iron Chinned Warrior. If anyone has ever seen the St. Valentine's Day Massacre and still thinks that Glass Jaw Roy would EVER come close to stopping LaMotta, they need to be referred to an eye doctor or a mental health professional.

Another note on LaMotta's deceivingly low KO rate. He was primarily a body puncher because he had Glass Hands. He would damn near beat opponents to death via body punching but they would still be up because he picked and chose his head shots carefully.
