    I know there's a few guys out there who wanted to see this interview of Roy from 1996. It was conducted an hour before his fight with Bryant Brannon, answering questions from Steve Farhood, Tony Paige and Ron Borges.

    It does prove one thing, that there was a time when Roy went to HBO and told them to make any fight.

    I wonder what the offers were and why they were turned down.

    It's an interesting interview, because Ron Borges and Larry Merchant have always been his biggest critics.

    Roy has tried to make fights in the past after being heavily criticized... He proves it here, and Kohl proved it when he admitted to not answering Roy's calls.

    Which just reinforces that the criticism was always B.S., and they knew it.

    I had forgot about that shot he took at James Toney, too. :lol:

    Its funny too that people accuse Roy of ducking a 2nd fight with Toney, even though he fought the winner of Toney-Griffin.

    Roy never ducked anyone. There just happens to be an endless line of deserving fighters that Jones didn't fight due to circumstance. :deal:
