People used to not like Roy because of his arrogance. In comparison to Mayweather and Judah, the guy is modest. I always enjoyed his interviews, he always came across as a good, yet entertaining guy. Which is quite a feat considering that head 2 head and pound 4 pound he is without a doubt THE GREATEST FIGHTER OF ALL TIME. We will never again see a fighter as talented as Roy Jones in our lifetimes. I have no doubt.

 

I will agree I wont ever see a bloke as good as him in my lifetime.

He has changed his style now, to suit his diminshed reflexes. I think he is still a top fighter, regardless of the losses. I would love to see him vs someone who isn't shot so we could get an idea as to how much he actually has left.

Roy has always been an entertainer on the big stage because that's the name of the game. Doesn't matter how great you are in the ring, if you can't promote yourself you'll end up beaten and broke.

He'll never be as good as he was but no one can take away his accomplishments. He was one of the greatest boxers of all time.

Away from the game he'll always be a champion.

 

Not even close. Moore won the Light Heavy title at 39, he'd have blasted that chin of Roy's into about 20 pieces. Plus, the Ol' Mongoose never touched the roids
