Face it people Jone's time has past he was the best of his era no doubt. but he has faded tremendously throughout the years. Calzaghe is going to pound on Roy like a drum I would be surprised if Roy makes it past the 6th round. I can see it now Roy hanging on the ropes with his hands up and Calzaghe pounding (slapping) him into submission with ease. Its going to be a sad night for RRJ fans Saturday night. i live in the U.S and all of the people i have spoke to think Roy Jones will win or want him to win its sad really Calzaghe is a great boxer who does not get the recognition he deserves in the states.
It is really hard to log on here and read post after post and fighter after fighter give RJJ a chance. In the 2nd 24/7 they showed RJJ training or trying to train. he can hardly jog anymore, when he was getting off the plane he almost slipped his balance is so bad. His legs are the size of toothpicks and his legs are VERY weak. his head movement was that of a retired person. finally his sparring, wow he didnt even get any decent rounds. This guy is aged drastically over the last 4 years..I am in the same boat RJJ and I are the same age and I used to box. I know what it feels like moving on 40. Bhop is a phenom, RJJ is aging at a normal pace. I just hope RJJ makes it interesting for about 4-5 rds, I dont see how he can make the final bell without someone or himself stopping it.
