Lebedev looks like the sort of bloke you might find on a building site in London.

Roy Jones will just try to survive, but will most likely get stopped mid to late on, he knows lebedev is dangerous he wil just try to evade.

im tellling you, the cleft hook will to for RJJ.

I'm sad about it and wont watch it, no chance. Green stopping RJJ was one of the saddest things ive seen in a ring.
Not gonna stop me betting big on a Lebedev stoppage though

Agreed. Roy would have treated Green like he treated Clinton Woods in his prime.

Woods was ****ing brave that night :yep

His chin is right up there with the top Americans, easily with Eubank the best of British.

If Roy Jones was not fundamentally skilled, he would not of been able in his old age. Make Jeff Lacy look like a complete ******, something Jermaine Taylor could not do. I know people want to join in threads, but don't just shout out mythical bull****.."Like Roy Jones was not fundamentally skilled" He still is the most skillfull fighter on the planet, Bernard Hopkins is just basic, Floyd Mayweather is just basic.."With abit of flash", Manny Pac....."Fights like a complete ******, he's a prime example of a fighter that completely banks on his blinding speed and mysterious hulk like strength....."Ever since he moved up to Welterweight.....

    Not Roy Jones.

Roy Jones was fundamentally skilled..! Bernard Hopkins has just beat down and young skilled fighter in Jean Pascal awhile back. But he couldn't beat down, Roy Jones and it was a scrappy affair. Because YES Roy Jones has slowed down, Bernard Hopkins did'nt hit hard enough to spark Roy Jones out, And their skills both kind of nullified each other.

Manny Pac is somebody who banks on his speed, power, and strength way to much. Someone with that kind of speed, and athletic ability should not be getting hit almost at will by someone as crude as Antonio Margarito.

Pound for Pound Roy Jones is still a better fighter for me skill wise, that Manny Pac easily.

Manny Pac won't win a round vs Floyd Mayweather, and he will look like a complete ******.

absolutely. that was the only time he ever got stopped in a 47 fight career. i knew he was gone when i saw an interview with him on BBC before the fight. he was one of the pundits talking about a fight (could have been a haye fight on BBC) and near the end of the programme they asked him about his fight with roy. I remember this part

Interviewer: So Clinton, have you been watching any tapes of Roy to prepare yourself?
Woods: I watched a few tapes but stopped because it was making me nervous.

Dwyer is on a permanent **** take at the moment. He has no ****ing legs, how is he gonna avoid Lebedev? Roy may have fast hands still but that means **** in itself, he can't move! Roy won't get hurt because luckily his chin is awful, he'll get KO'd quick. The cumulative effect of the last few years ain't pretty tho.

If Jones some how comes away winning this one, there will be a real stink of fish coming out of Moscow, in my humble opinion.

can people just understand that rjj loves to fight and he will carry on fighting till he doesnt love it any more....

yeah its hard for us to take really hard for us to see roy getting sparked by **** bags who roy would have ruined in his sleep in half his prime, but he will carry on cos he loves fighting loves the fans when he walks out of the arena, and in his heart he still belives he can win every time he puts them on......

shame we all gotta get old, but thats a fact of life and sometimes you get old in the ring in an instant.

ill never not want to see roy fight cos i can understand how much he loves to fight an how much he wants to go on, cos your a long time retired, and maybe roy thinks that when he hangs them up his real life is over.

can anyone else see that, cos i can.

RJJ WHATEVER, FOREVER A ****ING LEGEND

I blame the people around him partially as well for the way things are with him. One did an interview a few weeks back bigging him up and saying **** "He'll be the greatest in the world again soon, I know it in my heart." Money grabbing shitbags surrounding him are really not helping matters

You've got to know when to give it away though.

Not just in boxing, but in every other sport...... when you've got nothing left to give, let it go.

    Steve Waugh
    Jason Robinson
    Martin Johnson
    Shane Warne
    Lennox Lewis

    vs.....

    Roy Jones
    Evander Holyfield
    David Seaman
    Paul Gascoigne
    Gavin Henson

    :good
