You know I'm actually not a Jones fan but its kinda of sad how people forget how great Jones was in his prime-its almost as if people think that greatness can be taken away.

Roy Jones beat BOTH Hopkins and Toney when they were ALL STILL YOUNG.True Hopkins improved over the course of his career but lets not forget that his first fight with Jones wasn't that close-Jones easily won-Hopkins got alot of credit because he didn't get blown out like so many opponents at the time were that fought Jones.

Toney got his ASS SPANKED-badly.And yet he still trys to blame his loss on weight-which was a factor but not the only factor. He lost almost every round to Jones.

In his prime Jones is too much for both Hopkins and Toney.:deal

He proved he's too much by fighting and beating them. In terms of accomplishments Jones and Hopkins are tied for me, Toney doesn't even compare.

Don't call getting dropped twice and held to a draw vs MERCADO a rampage.

:huhOnly in the ninties. Roy relied on his athleticism so much that when it was gone we saw how suspect some of the skill sets were.

when people start off saying they are not a fan and then go into this ****, you know damn well you were a fan and been a fan.besides that i think bhop has done enough to surprise roy's legacy. bhop's winning and rjj is getting koed made it easier for bhop to catch up to him in terms of legacy and accomplishments. neither man has retired and only one of them can and will win again, which one is that ? Bhop !

    surprise Roy's legacy?

Roy probably got a concussion when Tarver knocked him out, and can't take a punch ever since. That **** happens in life. Once you get a certain type of concussion, you become very vulnerable.

Roy is still greater for me but if Hopkins has closed the gap

Both Hopkins and Jones have made history. Jones was more dominant but Hopkins is still going. Kind of a close call.

JT did all the same things as RJJ: he moved up to heavyweight and won the belt but lost it back due to failed drug tests. History showed that RJJ was on roids too so don't hate on JT's accomplishments.

I feel they are on the same level, Both have accomplished a lot but in different times of their careers. Jones dominated for most of his early career and up until he got to around 34 or 35 years old and then hit rock bottom. Whereas hopkins has become much better and dominate as he got older. So its a toss up really, but both are ATG's for sure
