    that's right. it was such an amazing win that a fatass Toney did the same thing a couple of years later.

    Toney got caught for steroids and it was two years after Jones defeated Ruiz. James Toney is no pushover either, James Toney is a great fighter even at the higher weights.

    John Ruiz was a top 3 Heavyweight in 2003 and Jones beat him, a former middleweight. That's a big win right there, whether u like it or not.

    you got owned in this thread several times over. anyone who thinks Ruiz is a good win is clearly a bit ******ed in the head. Hopkins has surpassed Jones already. Hopkins is in fact the greatest fighter of the last decade.

    What has Hopkins done to surpass RJJ ? He's not more accomplished thats for sure ..Becoming 2 time lt heavy weight champ is nothing compared to what Jones did in the division .Outside his longevity what does he really have over him ?

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    Jones was NEVER THE Light Heavyweight Champion. Ever. He won a bunch of vacant trinket belts that in reality belonged to someone else and defended them against bums. Hopkins is a 2 time legit Light Heavyweight Champion. Jones did not fight anyone at Light Heavyweight in fact he avoided the top competition like he did at every other weight he fought at.

    Jones also holds wins over 6 out of the top 10 contenders ..Now Rico go somewhere and stfu !! Your rhetoric is boring now !!

    He was champ and beat 6 of the best contenders in the world yet he fought no one ?:hi:

    And if you need a little reminder ...Michael Buffer does a better job at around 13:32

    And the funny thing is that ROY was shot vs Hopkins 2 and Hopkins STILL couldn't do anything wth him.

    Hopkins isn't in RJJ's league and in his prime Hopkins knew it and wouldn't go near Jones until he was shot to pieces
