Yeah, except he never beat the NUMBER 1 guy at 175.....

He was the challenger, he should have made the concession to go face the CHAMP in his backyard. Except, he was alright with talking **** and picking up his vacated titles

Dont get me wrong, roy has great wins over hopkins, toney, mccallum, and ruiz..... but 175 is supposed to be the bread and butter of his reign.... And he never fought the top guy at that weight!!!

Imagine he would have beat him????? He would be much higher rated IMO

Not to mention Roy destroyed the man that went on to beat DM. Roy was the pound for pound best... DM had his chance, he had to come fight Roy, didn't want to.

Who's rep will suffer more from this? That was DM's chance to go down as a great if he was better and thought he could win. Roy didn't need him, he made his name as a great and made history without DM.

Roy Jones is one of the best to ever lace up a pair of gloves. He's currently following the path of many great boxers before him. Fighting to long and taking unnessecary ass whuppings. History continues to repeat itself.

If you were robbed overseas of the very thing you worked your whole life for, im sure you wouldn't want to leave either...

Especially when you are known as the best fighter on the planet, and ask that they come to you...

You say he never fought the number one man in his backyard, well who is that number one man? And did his rep not suffer more than Roy's? I think so...

Also, Roy destroyed the fighter that beat him....

I don't see how people can not give Roy an exception when it comes to overseas judges....

He was robbed in the Olympics, something that he worked for since he was a boy, it crushed him so bad he almost never even fought again.

When he started his pro career, he had in mind that he was gonna be in the position to where he did not have to put it in the hands of foreign judges. And all the power to him.

DM was unbeaten until he was 35 and a pro for 14 years

Also he had a mauling pressure style and took alot of shots in his career being in wars and what not.....

He was done by that time!

Intresting is roy also lost at 35, except he got KTFO at 175 to boot

You cant compare roys prior acomplisments... we are talking about 175 here, and dariusz clearly has a better career at 175

DM did not win a heavyweight belt, and drop back down to 175.... Different stories...

Roy would have lasted longer if he did not go to heavyweight.

You dont understand what i am saying... Many people get robbed on route to the finals..... Most good fighters get robbed on route to the finals. The olympics is all politics and that **** is stank.....

Alan Minter got ROBBED of gold in the olympics for some german guy (simalar to roys situation as it happend in germany)

He fought all over europe and in the usa

Why does roy gets a free pass? Minter didnt have a problem with getting robbed in the final.... Why does roy get a pass???? YOu are so ****ing biased its horrible
