So should Roy have had to go to Germany to get his old title back from Rocchigiani?

Spot on as others have said. Also I think that if Roy knew to quit at the right time no one would be bringing up these criticisms to Roy as we wouldnt know any better. As it stands right now Roys legacy is being underrated because everyone has all his losses fresh in their mind but likely in due time people will disregard those just as they did disregard other ATG's losses like SRL's fights in the 90s or Ali's last fights.


Imagine if Hamed had continued on fighting and going up to 130, 135 and being knocked out by the likes of JMM, Pac, Corrales, Casamayor ect

His legacy would have been hurt. He left the game early before his reflexes were shot and only had that one loss to barrera which I hate to admit but wasnt as wide as many remember.
