Roy Jones JR Returns to the Boxing Ring on March 11th

by Geno McGahee - Ringside Report - Jan 12th 2011

RSR has just been informed that former Middleweight, Super Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight Champion, Roy Jones, JR., 54-7, 40 KO’s, will be finally returning to the ring on March 11th in Tennessee, most likely.

The opponent has yet to be determined at this point. Jones, JR., last fought in April of 2010, losing a unanimous decision to Bernard Hopkins. Prior to that fight, Jones lost via first round KO to Danny Green.

The idea of Jones, JR., actually defeating either fighter at this point is far-fetched, but those are apparently two fighters that he may be interested in.

How is RJJ off for cash...Not sure why he would keep going at this late stage?

Needs the cash apparently - his singing 'career' may not have helped the bank balance.

Let him keep going, teach him a lesson getting spanked especially at HW.

I won't buy his fights so i couldn't care less.

His legacy can't get any more damaged so Roy keep going you idiot.

he has ****ed up his legacy but surely you dont want him to **** up his health.must of made some bad investments.
heard Nard got most of the money from their fight and
Roy got SFA because it didnt generate 1/2 of the 10
    million they were expecting.

    Well said.

Erase the Green fight, and the lead up to/and performance against Hopkins may have been less messy.

I dont think the Yanks will have too much concern about the Green bout to fog their veiws of RJJ. Personally, I think RJJ is a ****ing snake for the bull**** behaviour in the weeks after the Green fight.

He's made millions. If he's lost millions, stiff ****.

    Talking about his legacy, stupid.

Although he needed 'to throw more punches' against BHop.. pity you didn't call a friend at the fight to pass on the brilliant, fight changing advice.
