I find it interesting that both these guys appear to have a lot of respect for each other. They both keep talking each other up but there should be a few issues here.
    • Calzaghe infamously stated that he doesn't want to fighter the shell of RJJ saying he was shot
    • Calzaghe also questioned Jones' use of performance enhancing drugs and said that having tested positive, it cast doubt over the rest of his career when he was in his prime
I wonder what Roy makes of these comments from Joe's book? I assume he's never read them as he calls Calzaghe "a gentleman" and "one of the best fighters of his generation". Is all what it seems?

Roy has then said the fight is signed and it's on at MSG but Joe comes back from holiday and knows nothing about it!

Somethings not quite stacking up here.

I bet you a 6 month avatar bet that this doesn't go 12 rounds!? Providing this fight takes place on the proposed 20th Sept date.

Why on earth would I take an avatar bet when I agree your man will win easily? I've had quite enough of having this ******* in my avatar, bet runs out Saturday. No more avatar bets.

Yup, why change the habit of a lifetime? Beating up a hasbeen at home would be a fitting way for Joe to end his career. If he asks nicely Erdei may even lend him his belt, that would make the package complete.:good

Damn! I'm sorry, but is this true about Roy testing positive for performance enhancing drugs? any sources? I didn't catch that one.

I don't think Jones will need them come Sept. 20th to beat Joe. his reflexes are still great as he demonstrated against Tito. Joe dosn't hit hard enough to keep Roy second guessing his assult.

I don't think Frank Warren's world title belt company (WBO) would be up for that anymore after their little falling out.

Anyway, the Ring is obviously the new WBO.

Where have you been? Those accuations were made after the Richard Hall fight.:?

BTW if you think this version of Jones beats Calzaghe you must be on drugs.
