RJJ was definety on Roids and for some reason didn't get punished, just because Richard Hall was on more.

Noted ESB poster once provided sure fire proof of this many years ago.

Also, the way Jones was treated above other fighters in his prime made me sick...remember the Graciano Rocchigiani fiasco?

JC did make those comments in the book, for me he simply realises that he isn't what he once was and wants to bow out with a big pay day undefeated.

No shame in that: we criticise boxers for not knowing when to stop, so I'm not going to hold Joe too strongly to task considering his age and his legacy.

EDIT: Noted ESB boxer Farmboxer provided proof of his failed Sterioid test.

It was hushed up in large part by the media, and really is never held against him at all.

The state doctor specifically said it was steroids not ripped fuel. He couldnt have been more clear that it was steroids not ripped fuel that he tested positive for. Fortunately for Jones he has better media mangement than a poor old doctor. Had the doctor been mistaken or wrong in making those statements you better believe he would have been sued to hell and back by now. He hasn't has he?

Incidently the only time his test went to the state rather than the governing body he tested positive. And when the positve test was passed to the governing body no action was taken. Funny that, that a body that makes its money out of its star boxers doesn't want to crucify its own star boxer.

Now don't get me wrong - the guy was talented as hell and would have been spectacular without roids, and I think Jones was hardly alone in their use, but it is a matter of record he used them.
