I actually like when fighters go out with a win, or wins, so I don't think he's hurting his legacy. He's not improving it either.

I think he's hoping to pick off a weak belt holder and then retire. That would enhance his legacy a teeny bit.

Jones's legacy has already been etched. It is what it is and remains unchanged no matter what he does now.

What he is doing now is just hurting his health.

Fry didn't land much, if anything, on him that would hurt him. So I don't think he's hurting himself fighting these low level guys.

Lennox Lewis did not retire at the perfect time. He finally met a bigger, stronger, taller version of himself in Vitali Klitschko, got badly hurt and comprehensively outboxed for the entire fight and lucked out with the fight ending eye injury. Big George Foreman openly called Lewis out as a coward for refusing to rematch Vitali while Vitali campaigned non stop for the multi-million mega rematch. Lennox Lewis is the champ who ran like a ***** and historically will never receive the accolades of the Jack Johnson's, Jack Dempsey's or Mike Tyson's of boxing glory.
