Aren't we underestimating how good Roy Jones Jnr is here? I mean his handspeed and reflexes are far beyond anything that Holyfield ever encountered in his cruiserweight career. Dwight Qawi was not a greatly skilled fighter, but he went a tough 15 rounds with Holyfield, surely Jones is a better fighter than Qawi?
Yep, of course he is - I'd hate to pick a winner in this one but those that are picking Jones to get owned and KO'd are under-estimating a seriously great fighter. Bear in mind if the fight was set at 190 I'd expect Jones to come in a lot lighter than he did against Ruiz, he'd still have a massive speed advantage, and speed kills. I don't think either of them would get KO'd, this would be a close decision, Holys pressure or Jones pot-shotting.
I would be really mad at Holy for a long time for beating up on Jones at 190 Holy walks through and over Jones !
Roy is my dude, but Holy at cruiserweight was an animal. Holyfield probably KO's Roy, but he most definately wins. But then again all our predicitons are based on the fact that we seen RJ get KO'd be4. If RJ never got KO'd and the fight happened right after Jones beat Ruiz, a lot more people would have been giving RJ a better chance. And you all kno its true
