This would have been an intriguing match up between two highly skilled Olympic medalists.
Roy would be the fastest guy Usyk has fought and I could see him having some success before Usyk's pressure starts taking over. I don't think that Roy would crumble how Bellew did from being mentally exhausted because Roy is more skilled than Tony but I think Roy would go down from well time left hands from Usyk.

My official pick would be Usyk by KO in round 7.
What are your thoughts? All opinions welcome.

The real fantasy here is Roy actually signing to fight Usyk and then going through with it. There is absolutely nothing - NOTHING - to cause any reasonable boxing fan to think that Roy would fight Usyk.
Archie Moore, Bob Foster, Qawi, Holyfield, Spinks, Charles, Toney, Greb, Conn, Tunney etc: all of those men would’ve fought Usyk.
It’s like asking who would you choose between the Floyd who fought Guerrero vs the Forrest who fought Mosley?
For the record, the Ruiz version of Roy would’ve fought and beat the Usyk version of Bellew.

Usyk is an all time great heavyweight. It's like Roy against peak Holmes or Holyfield. Usyk is a massive favorite and would find his chin. Its really a spite matchup to be honest, pretty goofy

Is Usyk an all-time great heavyweight? Definitely an ATG cruiserweight, but his two biggest wins at HW are a post-cocaine Fury who got dropped by and nearly lost to an MMA fighter on his debut and a post-Ruiz Joshua. Pretty thin for ATG level.

Usyk fights at the highest level, his resume at hw only consists of 4 guys, but off the eye test he is one of the most skilled heavyweight ever and is undefeated. Im my honest opinon, a peak Holyfield is the only heavyweight i know of who is more skilled.

Any version of Usyk beats Roy Jones Jr. There are levels in this sport and Roy Jones Jr. is not at that level...

i agree Roy will cause Usyk issues. I pick Usyk by late stoppage. but it would be very competitive. I think some people are really underestimating Roy here.

I'm a big fan of RJJ but he's simply too small for Usyk.

Usyk was weighing over 200 pounds prior to officially moving up to Heavyweight as a professional remember he had the WSB fights. RJJ's highest record weight was 193 pounds and he'd still be alot smaller than Usyk when Usyk's rehydrates

Usyk is 6'3 78 inch reach.

RJJ is 5'11 74 inch reach.

RJJ is definitely at the level of Usyk P4P what ? he won titles in 4 different weightclasses was a top P4P fighter for a decade barely losing a round. And won 23 world title fights which is almost double the amount of world title fights Usyk has won.

RJJ is simply too small for Usyk but he's definitely on the same level as him....

If they were a similar size it would be a very competitive fight believe you me.

Lol it's completely ridiculous to compare number of world title fight wins when Jones turned pro aged 20 and fought regularly for 29 years. Whereas Usyk turned pro after completeling the whole amateur game aged nearly 27, and has been a pro for 11 years.
