Roy is showing more spirit for boxing when he is losing all the time then he did when he was winning and a great fighter. He could have fought Maske and had a Toney rematch and fought Benn or Eubank and never did. He is one of the greatest, but he should retire. His career is different than Hearns or Haglers. They had tough fights and then came back and won through a long career. Roy had an easy enough time until he lost to Tarver and then many losses in a row. Very different.

The key thing to me in what Roy said is that he mainly fights because he has nothing else to do.

The govt took away **** and dog fighting.

He has Stockholm Syndrome. Hopkins took his heart prisoner and he must fight until Hopkins retires. Hopkins owns RJJ.

He was great doing commentary tonight as usual but as soon as they got him going about his career it was the rjj that cant face reality. I cant imagine being the best at anything for over a decade and then becoming ordinary but he has to face it sooner than later. He pronably feels needs to go out on a win but fighting dangerous young fighters is not the way to do that.

Thank God RJJ put Max Kellerman in his place. Kellerman and his big mouth not only insulted Chavez Jr, who only fought his heart out tonight, he insulted all fighters who have won a title. I am just happy Roy did not let Kellerman's stupid opinion go unanswered.

You can tell that the guy still has a warrior's spirit. I wonder if he regrets not going all out and fighting more/taking more risks/destroying guys when he was at his peak.

Jones just likes the attention and being in big fights he doesnt want to do nothing, I kind of get him but its dangerous and selfish as well for his family, he needs to find another hobby and stick to commentating.

kellerman stood up for boxers like martinez who get screwed over for guys that are better for marketing purposes, I agree completely with him, the sanctioning bodies are a joke and its good when people put this out there.
