Just watched back to back Calzaghe Kessler and Jones Trinidad...I'm a fan of both, but it was my first viewing of Jones trinidad, so i know I'm like 9 yrs behind, but I just didnt realise how shot he is, Calzaghe really should take this one, hard to see how ppl can favour Jones. Calzaghe is surely gonna overwhelm him with work rate and intensity, Jones has a punchers chance at best. Apologies, I'm sure this has been discussed lots, but just wanted to say my piece.
calzaghe aint got knockout power, if he cant hurt jones, jones will start getting cocky! in the tito fight he didnt even look like he was trying, he was cruising.. maybe he couldnt get excited for the fight coz he saw no danger in tito.. in the head to heads with calzaghe jones looked smaller, but calzaghe was fat, jones will inflate near the fight and calzaghe will shrink.. no1s seen the 39 year old jones dig deep, i still think hes got more than he showed against tito.. calzaghes only weapon is volume punching and durability.. he cant knock jones out, he cant even knock out manfredo or sakio bika(who took him to war)
While he looked good against Kess, he certainly didn't vs BHOP. Don't forget with Cal's age and style there's a good chance he is a significantly faded version of the fighter you are talking about :good
manfredo and dirty tactics bika took him to war umhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhthe bika fight was horrible but easy points win,the manfredo fight was **** funny,peter took him to war hahahahahahaha
