Like Holyfield,he doesn't know when to quit. His ego won't allow it,despite being knocked from pillar to post in his fights.
Pathetic end to a once great career.

I was sold the moment he spanked that bloke at the Olympics and didn't get the decision. 1988 I think it was, fastest hands in the west!

When your a kid and you see a guy fighting people in real life like it's a computer game you can only be in awe of that and mark that man as a legend and hero.

    Jones was unreal!.

This video clearly shows how naturally talanted he was in terms of co-ordination and motor skills. I have seen Floyd Mayweather on the speed ball, and he cannot do half the stuff Roy Jones can.

Roy Jones is the greatest fighter of his era period..? On ability and on ring achievements. People bang on about Floyd Mayweather going 42-0..? Roy Jones technically went 49-0, and in that time he was undistupted Light Heavyweight Champion, Middleweight World Champion, SuperMiddleweight World Champion, and captured the heavyweight crown..? And only second fighter in close to 100years to go from middleweight and win a Heavyweight World title. A big deal is made of Mayweather and Pacman fighting guys who weigh a bag of sugar heavyier than themselves.

Roy Jones fought and beat a qaulity heavyweight in Ruiz..? No matter what anybody says..? i don't care physically that jump up to heavyweight far surpasses anything Mayweather or Pacman have done.

Its also why i have so much admiration for David Haye's, jump from CW to HW.

Roy Jones was pound for pound Number 1 for over a decade..? I think the pound for pound title is aload of **** these days, and just a popularity contest, it has nothing to do with pure ability. I just find it pathetic when Floyd Mayweather insists he is the greatest fighter of all time..? He should concerntrate on being the greatest fighter of his era..........? Its between Pacman + Mayweather.

I think Roy may be broke, he did a cringeworthy rap at some fight in Russia a couple of weeks ago.

    Still a legend though!

It's a shame that prime Jones Jr wasn't shown on council telly. He would have been a huge star in the UK.
