Roy Jones Jr and Mike Tyson similarities, similar careers, comparison, TERMINATORS!

The guy talking is off...i like his enthusiasm but he is not on as far as knowledge.He is a classic example of a fan thinking with his heart and not logic.

 

After Jones beat Ruiz there was a lot of talk of him facing Tyson! Me personally, I think that's it was, TALK! I do not think Jones would have gone through with such a fight. At that time, Tyson was coming off a first round KO win over Etienne. For that fight, Tyson was trained by Roach & was in much better shape than was the case when he fought Lewis some eight months prior!

Jones would not have been able to take Tyson's power & at some point he would have got hit cleanly! Had they fought in 2003, Tyson would still have had too much speed & power for Roy! Just how the fcuk would Roy have hurt Tyson?

 

As far as I consider myself a "Royster", 'cause I always liked the aesthetic way he did his work, I wouldn't give him a chance to stand against Tyson.
Tyson, I believe he today still is, too physic in combination with too much speed for RJJ...
Especially, in the years between 1999 and 2003...
Further I think, beat me for that, most of that faster HW today are rather fat Cruiser's, such as Ruiz, Chambers and so on...
RJJ never was a HW, such as Tyson despite his size physically really was...

Tyson would've knocked RJJ out within 2 or 3 Rounds, I guess...

 

Tyson would tuck into his peekaboo and dempsey roll right thru Jones and cut him down.

But in reality, it's a lala land matchup.

Do not EVER compare a Glass Jawed fraud like Roy Jones to Mike Tyson. Jones handpicked all his fights refused to fight the best and has one of the most fragile Glass Mandibles in the sport.
