Jones KO mid rounds unless he gives us that "I don't want to hurt anybody" bull****. It would be a big money fight though as fans from both sides would pay to see it.
I'd be shocked if this happens. If it does, the PPV companies will get my order, despite Silva's 0-0-0 record as a professional boxer. The event and fight would be very intriguing. In the boxing ring under governing body rules, Jones beats Silva. Under MMA rules, Silva wrecks Jones.
Is he now? Against whom? Because if he has already proven mediocre in the boxing ring, he shouldn't be thinking of fighting even a faded shell of Jones.
My bad. Didn't know that. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=152826&cat=boxer TKO'd in 2 by Osmar Teixeira. I don't like his chances against Jones at all (not that I ever did).
you guys realize how much money RJJ has made by NOT retiring? 5 mill payday against Trinidad---easy fight and now another easy payday to fight SIlva...rjj has it made
Knocked out in the 2nd round by Osmar Teixeira, who's 38(29)-20(14)-0 (and none of those opponents beaten had winning records); then seven years later he KO'ed Julio Cesar De Jesus in round two in De Jesus' debut...and only fight.
This would basically be like Zelenoff-Jones. I know Zelenoff hasn't accomplished blah blah blah in another sport, but...at least he's undefeated as a pro boxer...
