Roy Jones Jr.-Anderson Silva Talks Begin

I'd pay to see it but then again i'd probably pay to see any Jones fight.... But it would be nice to see Jones shut Silva up

 

Silva is a very popular MMA fighter right? So if this fight happens, do you think it will be a HUGE event and have a lot of PPV buys or just a better than average event?

 

It would be HUGE since you'll have all the delusional MMA fans tuning in to see their man plus boxing fans.

 

Jones toys with him for two rounds then KO his ass.

 

Jones could've KOed Tito anytime but he didn't go for the kill. How sad would it be if this guy boxes for 12 rounds and wins a UD. People would dog RJJ like there is no tomorrow.

Funny, but we both think that its highly likley that the "nice" man Jones lets it go 12 rds.

Yeah, sometimes it's not in him to hurt people. He just likes to do his thing and showboat a little here and there and just get the UD.

But people won't like that. Boxing fans will want and expect the boxer to dominant the MMA guy and show them what time it is. How funny would it be with Jones just dancing for 12 rounds and showboating?

 

And saying to Larry Merchant after the fight, "I'm back!"

 

MMA fighters are getting much better at boxing though they spar with boxers all the time.

 

Silva is just looking for a carrier high payday, he knows he's going to get his ass kicked

 

I think RJJ will have some problems, primarily because his gifts have faded so much but also because Anderson is 6'2, a southpaw, and has some skills. I can see RJJ going to a decision.

 

Silva took an unsucessful crack at boxing a while back, no wonder he actually looks skilled compared to the rest of the MMA fighters. Even so he got KOed by a some journey and then beat an 0-0 guy.
