Based on what? Roy might have been marginally more talented naturally but Lomachenko has a way better boxing brain.

Roy was a great fighter in his prime, but he relied on his physical gifts too much and never honed his skills.

He was a supremely gifted athlete, but he's a slightly above-average boxer. He never faced his nemesis in his prime and with all the KO losses in the last decade, he's nowhere close to being the GOAT. Greatest athlete to grace boxing, but GOAT? Please.

Lomachenko wasn't gifted with power. Roy was gifted with all around athleticism, power included.

The young green Roy that fought at 154 twice, beats the brakes off of the Mayweather that fought at junior middleweight.

Back then cruiserweight wasn't a strong weightclass, it would have been impressive but it doesn't help his case a lot more than it is right now.

    The ****?

    He used PEDS..

And he is in denial about it.

Roy Jones, like "Evan Fields" and a number of others, does not count. He is not "great" per se. The PEDS were great.

Sorry, but it is the truht.

Roys boxing brain is very good as well. He was known for being very smart and tricky. Exceptionally creative fighter who loved to set traps and try new, uncoventional combinations. His athletic gifts are what allowed him to pull off those crazy moves but his boxing brain is what came up with the ideas and how and when to execute them without getting hit back.
He didnt have conventional fundamentals but he was a very smart boxer.

An example of a a very athletically talented but stupid boxer would be razor ruddock or terry norris.

Based on what? Roy in his prime was very hard to hit, and SUPER hard to beat, which would mean his boxing brain was very damn good. He didn't start looking vulnerable until after the Ruiz fight in which he had to cut 20+ pounds of muscle to fight Tarver. To say Lomachenko had a way better boxing brain than Roy is ridiculous.
